UDML 2020 workshop on Utility Mining (call for papers! )thumbs up
Date: March 29, 2020 09:43AM

Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that the workshop on Utility Mining and Learning (3rd edition: UDML 2020) will be held once again with the IEEE ICDM conference (ICDM 2020) this year.

All papers will be published in the IEEE ICDM workshop proceedings.

The dates are as follows:

Paper submission deadline: August 24, 2020
Paper notifications: September 17, 2020
Camera-ready deadline and copyright forms:
September 24, 2020
Workshop date:
November 17 2020

If you are working on high utility pattern mining or learning, it is a good opportunity to publish some papers in a good conference.

Looking forward to your papers!

Best regards,

Philippe

Is it ok to send a paper about association rules if it is not about utility mining?

Hi,
Yes the topic of this workshop is a little bit broad. It is about high utility pattern mining but also we consider papers about machine learning with a concept of utility (that can be also broad), and other pattern mining papers can also certainly be considered.

Best regards,
